Michael Loren King was born on November 14, 1946, in Paducah, Kentucky, to Richard and Alberta King. Mike proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a longtime resident of Spring, Texas.

Mike passed away in a Houston, Texas, hospital on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at the age of 65 years.

He is survived by his mother, Alberta King; daughters, Stefani Watson and her husband Tim, and Sherri Morris and her husband Blaine; grandsons, Gunnar Watson and Sebastian Watson; granddaughter, Lily Morris; as well as other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in Katy, Texas, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012, with the Rev. Jerry Thomas officiating.
