MAYFIELD — Harold H. Cox, 87, of Mayfield died at 10:54 a.m. Friday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

He retired from Merit Clothing Company in Mayfield. He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Oina Hudspeth Cox; three sons, Roger Cox of Roebuck, S.C., Ronnie Cox of Mayfield, and Richard Cox of Lone Oak; one sister, Hesta Lyles of Brewers; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulos and Pauline McAlister Cox; and one sister.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery in Golo.
