Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Crooks of Mayfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Kacie Crooks, to Steven Lance Goree, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown of Wingo, and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Goree of Wingo.

Miss Crooks is the granddaughter of Howard Hawkins of Mayfield and the late Betty Hawkins, and the late Garlos and Linda Crooks. She is a 2007 graduate of Mayfield High School and a 2011 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. She is employed by Fleming Furniture in Paducah.

Mr. Goree is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Guthrie of Mayfield, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Wilson of Hardin, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Goree of Ankeny, Iowa, and Mrs. Candace Parrish of Benton. He is a 2006 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield and a 2011 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health. He is employed by Honda Manufacturing of Indiana in Greensburg as a safety engineer.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at First United Methodist Church in Mayfield. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
