MAYFIELD — Joe Barnett Wall, 82, of Mayfield died at 7:59 p.m. Thursday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
He was an industrial engineer, a farmer, was retired from Woodmen of the World, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Courtney Wall; one son, Joe Burkhart Wall of Mayfield; two daughters, Jan Pearcy of Sullivan, Ill., and Jennifer Alamdari of Valley Village, Calif.; one stepson, Tim Courtney of Mayfield; one stepdaughter, Beth Reynolds of Mayfield; one sister, Martha Jane Laine of Houston; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carole Burkhart Wall; one granddaughter; and one infant brother.
His parents were Joseph Raymond and Amanda Octavia Barnett Wall.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Ian Carrico officiating.
Burial will follow in Cayce Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield and after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.
