HERNDON — Louise Thomas Sumner, 93, of Herndon died Tuesday at Covington’s Convalescent Center in Hopkinsville.
She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. She retired from Elk Brand Manufacturing and Key Cleaners in Hopkinsville
She is survived by one son, Raymond Averitt Sumner Jr. of Herndon; two daughters, Anna Sumner McCraw and Regeana Sumner, both of Herndon; two brothers, Homer Thomas and Dorris Thomas, both of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Janay Dennison of Springfield, Ill., and Dorothy Kilgore of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Averitt Sumner Sr.; one brother; and one grandchild. Her parents were Huell and Asrilee McGee Thomas.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz with the Rev. John Hagan officiating. Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home Inc.
