MARTIN, Tenn. — C.O. Castleman, 95, of Weakley County, Tenn., died Monday at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

He was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church in Martin, Tenn., was a retired farmer, and also retired from Illinois Central Railroad.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Castleman; two daughters, Violet Totty of Latham, Tenn. and Wanda Jean Fagan of Martin; two sons, Richard Castleman of Dukedom, Tenn., and Woodrow Castleman of Martin; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, James Castleman of Martin and Charles Castleman of Union City, Tenn.; and four sisters, Sue Wilson, Martha Castleman, Mary Elizabeth Clark, all of Detroit, and Bena Parks of Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Odie Castleman; a son, Randall Castleman; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; and two brothers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton with burial to follow in Sandy Branch Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
