NEW ORLEANS — Rebecca Clare Lasoski and Noé Sebastion Hamra were united in marriage April 22 at Shir Chadash Synagogue in New Orleans with Rabbi Ethan Linden officiating. Music was provided by A Touch of Rose harp and violin duo from New Orleans.

The bride is the daughter of Eugenie and Jack Lasoski of Paducah.

The groom is the son of Elvira and Daniel Hamra of Gran Canaria, Spain.

The bride chose her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Lasoski James of Natchez, Miss., as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Samanta Hamra Carbajales of Gran Canaria, sister of the groom; Ms. Ashley Stevens of New Orleans; and Ms. Sarah Gill of Paducah.

The groom chose José Zeitune of Buenos Aires, Argentina, as his best man. Groomsmen were David Lasoski of Louisville, Ky., brother of the bride; Haim Vasquez of Dallas; and Trey Cassels of New Orleans.

A reception followed at The Board of Trade.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Heath High School in Paducah and a 2007 graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., with a bachelor’s degree in English. She earned a juris doctorate degree with a certificate in maritime law in 2011 from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans. She is employed by Charles Taylor P&I Management (Americas) in New York City.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Instituto de Bachillerato in Gran Canaria, and a 2004 graduate of South Bank University in London, England, with a bachelor’s degree in European policy studies. He earned a master’s degree in European law in 2007 from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain, and a juris doctorate degree with a certificate in maritime law in 2011 from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans. He is employed by Thomas Miller (Americas) in Jersey City, N.J.

They reside in Jersey City.
