Jessie Myers Gilbert, 91, of Paducah, a native of Calloway County, died Friday at her home.

She was a member of First Christian Church, Dogwood Garden Club, “Sew & So” Club and Christian Women’s Fellowship Group 1 and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Shawn Coltharp of Paducah; one son, Hal Gilbert of Paducah; one sister, Martha Cole of Murray; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gilbert; and two brothers. Her parents were Tellus and Dora Myers.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jae Gottman officiating, with burial in Murray City Cemetery.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
