ARLINGTON — Charles Edwin Holmes, 60, of Arlington, formerly of Berkeley, Calif., died at 10:29 p.m. Wednesday at his home.

He attended Bardwell Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wheeler-Holmes; one daughter, Danielle Marie Holmes of Henrietta, Texas; one son, Taylor Edwin Holmes of Pittsburgh, Calif.; and one sister, Linda Christine Holmes-Chollet of Oroville, Calif.

His parents were Arthur Edwin and Virginia Christine Boaz-Holmes.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bardwell Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Bice officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
