Doris “Dee-Dee” Wellington, 83, of Paducah died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and retired from Campbell’s Sporting Goods.

She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and activities they were involved in.

Survivors include one son, Monty (Beckie) Wellington of Paducah; one sister, Kay Dickey of Paducah; two grandchildren, Kyle Wellington and Monica (Ted) Hutchins; five great-grandchildren, Kyler Hager, Reese Hutchins, Ally Hutchins, Braden Wellington and Drew Wellington; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monty L. Wellington; her parents, Arthur Lee Dickey and Anna Eliza Legate Dickey; four sisters, Edna Sarner, Rose Reason, Mildred Seaton and Linda Pearson; and three brothers, Jessie Dickey, Robert Dickey and Jerry Dickey.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Brandt Lyon officiating. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
