PRINCETON — Wayne “Red” Salyers, 78 of Princeton, died Tuesday at his residence.
He is survived by one son, David Salyers of Humboldt, Tenn.; two daughters, Pattie McDowell of Eddyville and Deedi Bell of Princeton; four grandchildren, Ashley Bennett, Kara Cross, Brady Oliver and Makenzie Bell; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Short Salyers; his parents, Lewis Jefferson and Elois McKinney Salyers, and one brother.
Mr. Salyers was a retired electrician from Air Products in Calvert City, a member of First Baptist Church of Princeton and a U.S. Army veteran.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Kent Workman officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
