Christine Carroll, 77, of Paducah died at 10:07 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, at her residence.
Christine was a lifetime member of Southland Baptist Temple. Christine enjoyed life to the fullest and always kept her faith and love of God as NUMBER ONE. She was an excellent cook, homemaker and loved the outdoors and camping.
She enjoyed her employment at the Daycare at Southland Baptist Temple. Christine was a family-loving person and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren along with her Bichon-Casey.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice F. (Edward) Hutchison of Paducah; one son, Robert Eugene (Lori) Carroll of Claremore, Okla.; two sisters, Joanne Hutchison of Paducah and Louise Hammonds of Louisville; three brothers, John (Judy) Winters, Harold Winters, and Charles (Carol) Winters, all of Louisville; ten grandchildren, Vicki (Matt) Jones of Booneville, Ind., Shanda Thompson, Joshua Noel, and Robert (Lesley) Hutchison, all of Paducah, Jessica (Shawn) Richardson of Collinwood, Tenn., Jeremiah Carroll of Evansville, Ind., Trey Quigley, Cody Carroll, Moriah (Jeremy) Lee, all of Claremore, Okla., and Edward Hutchison of Washington, D.C.; twelve great-grandchildren, Olivia Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Dakota Jones, Caleb Jones, Robert Jones, Tai Jones, Chloe Hutchison, Colton Hutchison, Callie Hutchison, Brayden Richardson, Dyer Richardson and Landden Lee; several nieces; several nephews; and Harvey Hopper, long time companion of twenty years.
Preceding in death were her husband, Robert Vick Carroll; her parents, Willie “Bill” Winters and Dora Hazel Moore Winters; and two sisters, Ruby Phillips and Willie Mae Brindley.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Topper Council officiating.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Eddyville.
