MAYFIELD — Alta Mae Bowlin, 85, of Mayfield died at 1 p.m. Saturday at Paducah Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mayfield and was a retired operator for Bell Telephone Company.

Survivors include two brothers, David Michael Boyd of Hickory and Perry Boyd of Boaz; one niece, Nancy Kay Boyd of Colorado; and one nephew, Steven Lynn Boyd of Hickory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Bowlin; and her parents, Raymond F. and Myrtle Boyd.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield with the Rev. Wes Fowler officiating. There will be no visitation. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
