MAYFIELD — Margie Hendrickson, 88, of Symsonia, died Friday, August 17, 2012, at her residence.

She was a homemaker and member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Carl Smith and the late Clara (Miller) Smith.

She is survived by one son, Carl Edward “Scrappy” Hendrickson and Laquetta Watkins of Symsonia; her grandchildren, Micheal Hendrickson, Rodney Hendrickson, Gene Hendrickson, Sharon Hendrickson, Shelley Hendrickson, Dean Hendrickson, all of Symsonia and Trina Wray of LaCenter; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Hendrickson; her brother, Robert Smith; and a sister, Geneva Howard.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Collier Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Max Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow at Old Pilgrim Cemetery in Clear Springs.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
