MURRAY — Services for Ruby Herndon, 88, of Murray will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale and Ronald Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mrs. Herndon died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at her home.

A retired teller for Peoples Bank, Mrs. Herndon was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College and attended Oklahoma School of Banking. She was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Herndon; one son, Steve Herndon; two sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Clarence and Mamie Tucker Dyer.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Galloway of Murray; two sisters, Hazel Berkley of Dallas, and Rose Coleman of Rowlett, Texas; and two grandchildren, Michael Galloway and John Galloway, both of Murray.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
