COLUMBUS — Mr. Johnny L. Cole, age 70, of Columbus, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 12:20 p.m. at Lourdes hospital in Paducah, Ky.

He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, Ky., and was a construction worker.

Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Margaret Rose Elder Cole of Columbus, Ky.; son, Jeff (Melinda) Cole of Columbus, Ky.; son, Henry (Renee) Cole of Columbus, Ky.; sister, Martha Jo (Popeye) Cole of Clinton, Ky.; three grandchildren, Jessie Cole, Tolley Cole and Anna Cole, all of Columbus, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hub and Thelma Carter Cole; two sisters, Helen Hudson and Virginia Ann Cobb; two brothers, Jim Cole and Boyd Cole.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm with Father Darrell Venters officiating. Inurnment will follow in the St. Jerome Cemetery.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Jerome Catholic Church.
