BENTON — Joe Hulen, 83, of Las Vegas, formerly of Calvert City, died Monday at Nathan Adelson Hospice Hospital in Las Vegas.

He was in the U.S. Navy, worked for GAF in Calvert City, and retired from ARAMCO.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hulen, and one son, Joe Pat Hulen of Sugar Land, Texas.

He was preceded in death by two sons, David Lex Hulen and Michael Duffy; and one sister. His parents were Gladys Dunn Hulen and Lex Hulen.

Services with military honors will be at a later date in Briensburg Cemetery near Benton. There will be no visitation. Collier Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
