BENTON — Louise Hinkenbein, 90, of Benton died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday at Calvert City Convalescent Center.

She was the co-owner of Alpine Restaurant in Aurora and was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Aurora.

She is survived by two stepdaughters, Carol Phelps and Mary Conkright Herzog, both of Benton; two stepsons, Charles Hinkebein and Clem Hinkebein, both of Benton; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Houser; and her second husband, Louis Hinkebein. Her parents were Elmer Dennison and Fannie Hargrove Dennison.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Collier Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Babu Kulathumkal Joseph officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Springs Cemetery in Benton.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
