Michael D. Marshall, 65, of Paducah, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012, at his residence.

He was of the Catholic faith, worked in the river industry for over 45 years and was a member of the Propeller Club of Paducah.

Mr. Marshall is survived by two daughters, Beth Haas and husband Chris of Paducah and Laura Taylor and husband Michael of Paducah; one brother, Jeff Marshall and wife Barbara of Midlothian, Va.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Luther Marshall and Jean Moriarty Marshall.

A memorial Mass will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Roby officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The Marshall family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
