William (Bill) H. Petterson, age 85, of Paducah, passed away Saturday at 9:47 A.M. at his residence.

Bill was a native of Mayfield, Ky. and was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was the owner of A to Z Antique Shop and also worked as a security officer. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving are his two sons, Billy Joe Petterson and wife JoAnn of Paducah and David Gerald Petterson of Boaz, Ky.; four grandchildren, David Gerald Petterson II, Cheryl Renae Petterson, Kara Petterson, and Amber Petterson, and one great-grandchild, Alexandria Petterson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lexine Petterson; one son, PFC Charles Stanley Petterson, and one sister. His parents were Nealy Petterson and Eva Moore Petterson.

There will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Keeling Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
