Mr. and Mrs. Felix Michael Gossum of Fulton announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Louise Gossum, to Marc Leslie Johnson, son of the late Leslie and Virginia Johnson.
Miss Gossum is the granddaughter of Mildred Louise Mercer of South Fulton, Tenn., and the late James Earl Mercer, and Mary Louise Gossum of Fulton and the late Felix Maurice Gossum. She is a graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., and a master of business administration degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. She is an alumna of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity and is employed by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mr. Johnson is the grandson of the late Howard and Mary Swisegood, and the late Fritz and Elsie Johnson. He is a graduate of Galesburg High School in Galesburg, Ill., and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Clark University in Worcester, Mass. He is employed by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in Fort Worth, Texas.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at Paradise Cove at Lake Grapevine in Southlake, Texas.
