CAYCE — Margaret Adams, 93, of the Rush Creek community died Wednesday at her home.

She was a member of Rush Creek United Methodist Church and was active in several community groups. She was a high school teacher, an aviation inspector, a home demonstration agent and an office manager at the Kentucky Department of Social Services.

She is survived by three daughters, Ann Freeman of Hickman, Alice Voegeli of Fulton and Ellen Petty of Union City, Tenn.; two brothers, Max E. Howard of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Jeffrey M. Howard of Farmington; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Adams, and a brother. Her parents were Hollis V. and Maude Howard.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rush Creek United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rush Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton.
