SPRING HILL — Marie Gray, 62, of the Spring Hill community died Tuesday at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.

She attended First Assembly of God in Clinton and was a personal care assistant with Lourdes Hospice.

She is survived by her husband, James Gray; two daughters, Angela West and Tina Merrell, both of Clinton; two sons, Anthony Newton of Fulgham and Jamie Gray of Calvert City; two stepdaughters, Shannon Gray of Mayfield and Amy Stinson of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Firth Byassee of Clinton, Carolyn Cox of Union City, Tenn., and Virginia Sanders of Trimble, Tenn.; four brothers, Joe Johnson and Truman Johnson, both of Union City, Donnie Johnson of Reidland, and Bobby Johnson of South Fulton, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Merrell; second husband, Charles Newton; and three brothers. Her parents were Buford and Beatrice Holt Johnson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
