Andrew “Andy” Holm, 92, of Paducah died Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital. Andy was a native of Milford, Utah, forty-eight year member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he served on the Baptism Committee, and a veteran of U.S. Army Air Corp, having served during World War II. He was retired from Martin Marietta where he served as a custodian.
Services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 12:00 noon at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Survivors include three sons, Robert “Bobby” (Lisa) Holm of Paducah, Ky., James “Jimmy” (Nancy) Holm of Paducah and Martin (Nancy) Holm of Plainfield, Ill.; one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Holm of Kuttawa; twelve grandchildren, Kim Giltner, Kris Holm, Sean Holm, Nikki Holm, Hollan Holm, Erik Holm, Andrew Holm, Andrea Holm, David Bradley, John Bradley, Melissa Barnett and Corey Barnett; twelve great-grandchildren, Zach Giltner, Madison Giltner, Catherine Holm, Lily Holm, Cooper Holm, Sylvia Holm, Anna Bradley, Allison Bradley, Katherine Bradley, Adrian Luna, Mason Budreau, and Gabriel Holm; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was wife of fifty-four years, Ruth Cooper Holm; one son, Ted Holm; parents, John Victor and Lucy Bozarth Holm; five brothers, Martin, Charles, James, Frank and Albin Holm.
