PRINCETON — Shirley P’Poole, 71, of Princeton died Thursday at her home.

She retired from Arvin Industries, was a homemaker and attended Charity Baptist Church in Lyon County.

She is survived by her husband, Gayle P’Poole of Princeton; two sons, Tony P’Poole and Kevin P’Poole, both of Cadiz; two daughters, Vanessa Redd of Princeton and Lisa Oliver of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Carolyn Ward and Betty McGillem, both of Princeton; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marla Holt. Her parents were Earl and Beulah Mae Butler Williams.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Vic Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
