GOLCONDA, Ill. — Gayle Brookshier, 73, of the Rosebud community in Pope County died Monday at her home.

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Brookshier; three sons, David Brookshier of Golconda, Del Brookshier of Vienna and Chad Brookshier of Vevay, Ind.; two daughters, Brenda Bunting of Rosebud and Denice Broadway of Golconda; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers. Her parents were Delmer and Veva Bartley McNair.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Rosebud.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Aly Funeral Home in Golconda is in charge of arrangements.
