Charles H. Williams Sr., 74, died at 12:48 a.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Williams was a member of St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College, was a maintenance mechanic for Paducah Housing Authority, a member and past master of Stone Square Lodge #5 F.&A.M., former member of the W.C. Young Center Board of Directors, and a lifetime member of the Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Bramley Williams; one daughter, the Rev. Renata Louise Williams of Roswell, Ga.; and his mother, Mary Alge of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Williams; two sons, Charles H. Williams Jr. and Michael G. Williams, and one brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Revs. Martha E. Granger and Renata Williams officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday with Masonic Rites at 7 p.m. and after 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
