MAYFIELD — Carolyn Hicks McClendon, 82, of Mayfield died Monday at Heritage Manor Healthcare.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a 1948 graduate of Mayfield High School and a retired secretary for the vice president of Braniff International Airlines of Dallas.

She is survived by one niece, one nephew and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Her parents were Holly Roy and Eulah L. Hicks McClendon.

There will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Byrn Funeral Home.
