BARLOW — George Thomas Bass, 62, of Barlow died at 1:06 p.m. Sunday at this home.

Mr. Bass was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and Vietnam era and member of Paducah Local No. 500 Painter Union.

He is survived by one daughter, Billie Jo Slife of Barlow; two sons, Michael Eugene Bass of Monkey’s Eyebrow and Fred Bass of Wickliffe; two sisters, Betty Joyce Roberts of Steelville, Mo., and Oretha Jenette Snow of La Center; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers. His parents were Fred James and Myrtle Marie Stallions Bass.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with the Rev. Joe Skinner officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
