COLUMBUS — Brenda Lee Puckett, 64, of Columbus, died at 7:59 p.m. Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Mrs. Puckett was a homemaker and of Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Lee Puckett of Columbus; two sisters, Janis Owens and Paula Perry, both of Bardwell; two brothers, Marshall Lynn Payne and Terry Payne, both of Bardwell; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Puckett. Her parents were Marshall E. Payne and Lorene Holder Payne Shrodes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. Mark Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Clinton.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
