BOAZ — Mr. and Mrs. Phillip B. Rodgers of Boaz celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Rodgers and the former Judy Hayes were married July 28, 1962, by the Rev. William Field at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Their attendants were Jane Ann McKeown Parker and Robert Dunaway.

Mrs. Rodgers is a retired office manager for Dr. Daniel Tkach and formerly worked in banking for 25 years at Liberty Savings Bank in Symsonia and Graves County Bank in Fancy Farm. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Hayes.

Mr. Rodgers is part-owner of Moore Tile and Flooring, Inc., and formerly worked at the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. He is the son of Dessie Rodgers of Boaz and the late William B. Rodgers.

They have two daughters: Kimberly Ann Moore of Boaz and Melissa Gail Howard of Paducah; and three grandsons.
