FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Mrs. Katherine Kelley Borchelt of Franklin died July 27, 2012.

She was Secretary for the Paducah School System prior to moving to Franklin. Attendance Secretary for ten years for the Williamson County Board of Education. Lifelong member of Christian Church and active in the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was an avid gardener and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by husband, Ralph Borchelt of Franklin; son, Dr. David (Jenny) Borchelt of Gainesville, Fla.; daughter, Janet (Greg) Avery of Franklin; grandson, Erik Borchelt of Baltimore, Md.

Services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dr. C. Roy Stauffer officiating.
