METROPOLIS, Ill. — Frances Helen (Ramer) Kennedy, 78, of Metropolis passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 1:55 p.m. at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Metropolis with Dr. Joe Buchannan officiating.

Survivors include her two daughters, Caroline Barnett and her husband, Gregory of Paducah and Linda Beyer and husband, Robert of Keensburg, Colo.; her brother, Ralph Ramer and wife, Novella of Tampa, Fla.; and one granddaughter, Autumn Nicole Smith of Brookport, Ill.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, W.B. and Helen Ramer; her brother, Bill Jr. Ramer; her husband, Robert G. Kennedy; and her grandson, Joshua Brooke Barnett.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Metropolis.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Metropolis.
