BARDWELL — James Ross “Jimmy” Adams, 62, of Bardwell died at 9:51 a.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was of the Christian faith, a member of ASCAP, a singer, songwriter, musician and graphic artist.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Adams; one son, Ross Adams of Oahu, Hawaii; his stepfather, Lonnie Swindle of Wimberley, Texas; one stepdaughter, Kimia Othick of Solana Beach, Calif.; one stepson, Shar Etebar of El Cerrito, Calif.; one brother, Lee Swindle of Padre Island, Texas; four grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jane Adams. His parents were Bill Adams and Billie Siegel Swindle.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bardwell Baptist Church Christian Outreach Center with the Rev. Frank Queen officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
