ASHLAND, Mo. — Evelyn O. Martin, 97, of Ashland passed away July 20, 2012.

Evelyn was born May 16, 1915, in Paducah, Ky.

She is survived by her children, Herman Schneidman (Eugenia) of Ballwin, Mo., and Judy Buchea of Ashland; grandchildren, Mike Schneidman of St. Louis, Mo., Cindy Wundrack (Bill) of Ashland, Greta Long (Graham) of Newberry, Mass., Mary Leach (Kevin) of Anchorage, Alaska, and Will Petway, Brad Petway and Jason Buchea (Binta), all of California; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Martin; and her parents.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, at Roth Funeral Chapel. There will be a graveside service following at 12:30 p.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
