Mr. and Mrs. Larry Fowler of Paducah recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Fowler and the former Shirley J. Belt were married June 29, 1962, by the bride’s father, the Rev. Paul O. Belt, at Woodlawn Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Paducah.

Mrs. Fowler retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation. She is the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Paul O. Belt.

Mr. Fowler is retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation. He is the son of Mrs. Earin Fowler of Paducah and the late Casey Fowler.

They are the parents of Mechelle Jones of Smithand and Melanie Poole of La Center. They have two grandchildren.
