Billy C. Allcock, 84, of Paducah, formerly of Gilbertsville, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Gaither Suites of Paducah.
Mr. Allcock was a retired Cumberland Presbyterian minister and formerly pastored Hopewell C.P. Church in Livingston County, Pleasant Valley C.P. Church in Ballard County and Mt. Zion Old C.P. Church in Hickman County. He was retired from G.A.F. Corp of Calvert City and was a World War II Navy veteran. He was past master of Plain City Lodge #449, was a 32nd degree Mason, Scottish Rite and was a life member of both. He attended Briensburg Methodist Church
He is survived by one son, Ricky C. Allcock and wife, Brenda of Reidland; two grandchildren, Brent Baggett and wife, Stephanie of Austin, Texas, and Ben Baggett and wife, Gail of Corvallis, Ore.; two great-grandchildren, Paul Baggett and Johannah Baggett; one sister-in-law, Joanne Allcock of Paducah; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ada Rose Kepner Allcock; and one brother, Floyd Victor Allcock. His parents were Lee Harris Allcock and Faye Wilkerson Allcock.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Bill Lawson officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
