METROPOLIS, Ill. — Frances Virginia (Stout) McCoy, 80, of Metropolis, IL., passed away July 18, 2012, at Metropolis Nursing and Rehab.
She was survived by her daughter, Darta Ann “Dody” (McCoy) Hibbs and husband, David of Metropolis, IL.; 1 grandson, Evert Gordan Anderson, stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base in Chicago, IL.; 4 sisters, Mary (Stout) Griffey of Metropolis, IL., Betty (Stout) Davis of Metropolis, IL., Carolyn Sue (Stout) Amos of Boca Raton, FL., and Patricia (Stout) Seagraves of Metropolis, IL.; one stepgranddaughter, Deborah Sue (McCoy) Ames, husband, Dave and daughter, Marcy of Stillman, IL.; several nieces and nephews, and a dear, beloved friend, Florence Moore of Oklahoma.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie Mae (Littlemeyer) Stout Barter and Greene Stout; her husband, Evert Gordan “Doc” McCoy; 2 brothers, Paul Revere Stout and Glendall Fredrick Stout; 2 sisters, Donna Kay Stout and Verna Loraine (Stout) Bramlett; her brother-in-law, Floyd Griffey, and several other family members and loved ones.
A celebration of her life will be held at her home on Saturday afternoon, July 21, 2012.
