MARION — Leonard Roberts, 89, of Marion died Monday at his home.
He was a World War II veteran and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and liberation of the Broken Wall Concentration Camp. He was a member of Repton Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Virginia L. Swager of Murray and Blondell Behreadt of Henderson; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Harlan Roberts; two brothers; one sister; and two wives, Mary Roberts and Ronella Ordway Roberts. His parents were George and Allean Roberts.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mapleview Cemetery with military rites.
Friends may call from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
