SYMSONIA — Sondra “Sandi” Evans Schlattmann, age 69, of Symsonia, KY., died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah, KY.

She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She was the president of her Sunday School Class, and president of the Marshall County Homemakers. She was the daughter of the late Merl Evans and the late Agnes (Westerman) Evans.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Schlattmann, Symsonia, KY.; daughter, Andrea (Aundie) Starks, Milton, KY.; stepdaughter, Stephanie Ladd, Possum Trot, KY.; two sisters, Merylene Evans, Cape Girardeau, MO., Pat Starnes, Ledbetter, KY.; one brother, Herschel Evans, Smithland, KY., and grandchildren, Jordan and Megahn Veid, Lexington, KY., Amy Veid, Calvert City, KY., Taylor Starks and Hanah Starks, Milton, KY.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Evans.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.

Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, with Tom Starks officiating. Interment will follow at Wallace Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
