MURRAY — Jeanette Cavitt, 83, of the Penny community in Calloway County died Tuesday at her home.

She was a homemaker and a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, J. Terry Cavitt; three daughters, Julia LaBelle of Zeigler, Ill., Paula Lossner of Cocoa, Fla., and Teresa George of Murray; one son, Gary Cavitt of Murray; two sisters, Joanne Cavitt of Murray and Camilla Tarry of Modesto, Calif.; one brother, Robert Overby of Murray; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one great-grandchild. Her parents were Curtis and Kathleen Snow Overby

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Jim Tapp officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
