NEGRIL, Jamaica — Jenna L. Sheppard and Jon L. Carlson Jr. were united in marriage May 15 at Breezes Grand Resort & Spa in Negril with the Rev. James M.A. Pesrt Jr. officiating.

The bride is the daughter of “Shep” and Wilma Sheppard of Paducah.

The groom is the son of the late Jon and Frances Carlson.

A reception followed.

The bride is a graduate of Heath High School in West Paducah and earned an associate degree in 2011 from Mid-Continent University. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management and is employed by Babcock &Wilcox in West Paducah.

The groom is a graduate of Pope County High School and is employed by the United States Enrichment Corp.

They reside in Paducah.
