KARNAK, Ill. — Reba Kotter Hale, 96, of Karnak died at 7:05 p.m. Friday at SouthGate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Karnak and of the Grand Chain Order of Eastern Star. Her husband and she were the owners and operators of Kotters Trucking Service in Karnak.
Survivors include one son, Bernard Kotter of Karnak; one daughter, Judy Wright of Karnak; one sister, Bernice Mescher of Austin, Texas; four granddaughters; one grandson; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren Kotter; her second husband, Raymond Hale; one sister; and one brother. Her parents were Harmon and Minnie Krueger Strueve.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with the Rev. Allen Milligan officiating. Interment will be in Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
