MURRAY — Wendell Pace, 55, of Murray died Thursday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

He graduated from Murray High School in 1975, was a member of the worship team at Murray Family Church and was a baker in the Murray-Calloway County Hospital cafeteria for 23 years.

He is survived by his wife, Portia Smith Pace; two daughters, Wendy Cope of Murray and Daisy Moats of Kiserslauten, Germany; two stepchildren, Vincent Parlato and Kathryn Parlato, both of Murray; a sister, Barbara Wagoner of Murray; three grandchildren and a niece.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Imes-Miller Funeral Home with Butch Seargent officiating. Interment will follow at Murray City Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
