Kenneth Manker Sr.
MURRAY — Funeral Mass for Kenneth Jewell Manker Sr., 80, of Murray, formerly of Charleston, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston. The Rev. Glenn Eftink will officiate. Military rites will be conducted at Calvary Cemetery in Charleston.
Mr. Manker died Saturday at his home in Murray.
He was a former member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Manker was district sales manager for the Bunny Bread Co. from 1969 to 2002.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Brenda Sue Long Manker; two sons, Ken Manker Jr. of Grand Rivers and Terry Manker Sr. of Paducah; one daughter, Kelly Vaughn of Russellville, Ark.; four brothers, James Manker of Canyon Lake, Texas, Ray Manker of St. Louis, David Manker of Charleston and Donnie Manker of Atoka, Tenn.; three sisters, Judy Holzen of Springville, Tenn., Norma Sommers of Sparta, Ill., and Melba Stricker of Jackson, Mo.; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Manker; and one brother. His parents were James and Helen Toombs Manker.
McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
