David Austin Lockard, 55, of Paducah died at 2:45 p.m. Friday at his residence.

He was a retired deckhand with James Marine.

Surviving are one daughter, Angela Lockard of Metropolis, Ill.; one son, Austin Lockard of Metropolis; one brother, Mark Lockard of Paducah; two sisters, Amy Jo Hogg of Mayfield and Mary Beth Arnold of Union City, Tenn.; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Shirley Lockard.

Memorial services were incomplete. Cremation will be performed by the Cremation Society of Paducah. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
