Julie Dalton of Alcoa, Tenn., and Kent Roberts of Maryville, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Anne Roberts, to Steven Michael Zeiss, son of Susan and Terry Dietz of Paducah, and Mike and Teresa Zeiss of Paducah.

Miss Roberts is also the daughter of the late James Dalton. She is the granddaughter of Jewell Newman of Friendsville, Tenn., and the late Buck Newman, and Jim and Betty Estes of Maryville, Tenn. She is a 2005 graduate of Alcoa High School, a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and earned a doctor of physical therapy degree in 2011 from the University of St. Augustine. She is employed as a physical therapist in Nashville, Tenn.

Mr. Zeiss is the grandson of Ruby Lynn of Paducah and the late Kenneth Lynn, and Henry Zeiss of Paducah and the late Mary Zeiss. He is a 2004 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, a 2008 graduate of the University of Louisville and earned a doctorate of physical therapy degree in 2011 from the University of St. Augustine. He is employed as a physical therapist in Nashville.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5:30 p.m. May 27 at Carnton Plantation in Franklin, Tenn.
