Rick and Vickie Tilley of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheryl Ann Tilley, to Alan Louis Strong, son of Richard and Barbara Strong of Paducah.

Miss Tilley is the granddaughter of Peggy Greenway of Elberton, Ga., and the late Howard L. Greenway, Wayne Tilley of Paducah and the late Phyllis Tilley. She is a 2005 graduate of Community Christian Academy in Paducah and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2009 from Murray State University. She is employed by Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

Mr. Strong is the grandson of Mary Elizabeth Strong of Paducah and the late Charlie G. Strong, and the late Robert L. and Virginia Duncan. He is a 2004 graduate of Lone Oak High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication in 2008 from Murray State University. He is a May candidate for graduation from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville with a master of divinity degree. He is employed by Highview Baptist Church in Louisville and the Louisville Slugger Museum.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2:30 p.m. May 12 at 1645 South Friendship Road, Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
