Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Page of Paducah will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an informal open house from 1:30 to 4 p.m. March 25 at their home located at 181 Canon Drive in Lone Oak. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Page and the former Carolyn Ruth Manley were married March 23, 1947, by the Rev. A.O. Russell at the Methodist Church in Piggott, Ark. Their attendants were Dale and Wanda Shelton, sister of the groom.

Mrs. Page is the daughter of the late Ernest and Essie Smith Manley.

Mr. Page retired with 32 years’ service from the U.S. Postal Service and also retired fom the McCracken County Inspection Department. He is the son of the late Omar J. and Ethel Lynn Page.

They have four children: Martin Lynn Page of Orlando, Fla., Cynthia Jo McElya of Boise, Idaho, Gregg Patrick Page of Dallas, Texas, and Penny Ruth Gates of Paducah; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
