MAYFIELD — Karen Lee Parks and Robert Mel Sullivan were united in marriage June 11 at First Baptist Church in Mayfield with Spencer Pate officiating. Music was provided by David Whaley, pianist and organist; and Brian Fite and Carrie Rogers, vocalists.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and LaDonna Parks of Mayfield. The groom is the son of Barbara Wiman Sullivan of Mayfield and the late Robert “Corky” Sullivan.

The bride chose Miss Laura Wilkins of Mayfield as her maid of honor. Serving as the flower girl was Miss Allie Dillingham, daughter of Stephanie and Daniel Dillingham of Mayfield. Ringbearer was Wade Crawford, son of Beth and Ben Crawford of Mayfield.

The groom chose Tim Fortner of Murray as his best man. Ushers were Andrew Parks and Jeff Blewett of Mayfield, and John Dalton of Paducah. Jeff Blewett and John Dalton also served as candlelighters.

A reception followed at First Baptist’s Wilson Hall. Servers were Jennifer Blewett and Stephanie Dillingham of Mayfield; Ashley Dalton and Terri Dalton of Paducah, Lexi Fortner and June Fortner of Murray. Guest register attendant was Jordan Blewett of Mayfield.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mary Lee and James Russell Willie of Mayfield, and the late Roy and Carrie Parks. She is a 1998 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield and a 2004 graduate of Murray State University in Murray. She is employed by Northside Baptist Christian School in Mayfield.

The groom is the grandson of the late Charles “Charlie” and Berniece Wiman, and the late Harry Clifton “Jack” and Bernice Sullivan. He is a 1986 graduate of Mayfield High School in Mayfield and a 1991 graduate of Murray State University in Murray. He is employed by Lab Corporation of America in Paducah.

The couple reside in Mayfield.
